i was talking about the oscars with some dudes in my stats class today, and one of them said two things that absolutely floored me: that he didn’t think drive was that great of a movie and he hadn’t even heard of tinker tailor soldier spy
and another guy was upset that meryl streep had won an oscar
needless to say, i took all of those statements as a personal affront
